Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)
FSH regulates the ovarian cycle and naturally rises during perimenopause, contributing to symptoms such as hot flashes and irregular cycles.
Estradiol (E2)
The main female estrogen, declines during menopause and can cause hot flashes, dryness, sleep disturbances, weight changes, and impact bone and cardiovascular health.
TSH
Regulates the thyroid ; imbalances can cause fatigue, weight changes, mood and metabolic disturbances, sometimes intensified during menopause.
Vitamin D
Supports calcium absorption and bone, muscle, and immune health. Deficiency, common after 45, increases the risk of osteoporosis and fractures
Lipid panel
After menopause, declining estrogen raises total and LDL cholesterol and lowers HDL. A lipid panel helps monitor cardiovascular health.
Fasting blood sugar
Menopause can lead to insulin resistance and abdominal fat accumulation, increasing the risk of diabetes.
